By visiting our website or purchasing handcrafted work from our studio, you agree to be bound by the following Terms of Service. Please take a moment to review them before placing an order.

1. The Nature of Artisan & Handcrafted Work

  • Handmade Variations: Every piece created in our studio is individually crafted by hand. Because we work with natural materials and traditional artisan techniques, slight variations in finish, texture, metal tone, or minor dimensions are a natural signature of hand fabrication—not defects. These unique characteristics ensure that your piece is truly one-of-a-kind.

  • Colors & Photography: We capture our studio work in high detail using natural lighting to represent colors and textures as accurately as possible. However, exact display colors can vary slightly depending on your device’s screen settings.

  • Studio Availability: Because our work is created in small batches or made-to-order, piece availability and production timelines may fluctuate. We reserve the right to update product availability or modify pricing at any time.

2. Orders & Studio Processing

  • Order Acceptance: When you place an order, you will receive an automatic receipt confirming we have received your request. Final acceptance of the order occurs when your piece enters active fabrication or is packaged for shipment. We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order (with a prompt full refund) in the event of material shortages, pricing errors, or suspected fraudulent activity.

  • Payment Security: Payments are processed securely at checkout via established third-party payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, or Square). Full payment is required before an item is crafted or shipped.

3. Packaging, Shipping & Delivery

  • Fulfillment Timelines: Ready-to-ship items typically ship within our standard studio processing window. Made-to-order or custom pieces require dedicated bench time and will have longer lead times that can be discussed during the custom order process.

  • Address Accuracy: Please double-check your shipping address during checkout. We are not responsible for delays, misdeliveries, or lost packages caused by incorrect address information provided at purchase.

  • Carriers & Transit: Once a package leaves our studio and is handed over to the shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.), transit times and handling are under the carrier's care. If a package arrives damaged or appears lost in transit, please reach out to our studio promptly so we can assist you in opening a claim.

  • Sales Tax: Applicable state and local sales taxes are automatically calculated at checkout based on the delivery destination.

4. Custom Commissions, Resizing & Returns

  • Ready-Made Returns: If you are not completely satisfied with a ready-made piece, please contact the studio within 21 days of delivery to arrange an eligible return or exchange. Items must be returned unworn and in original condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the buyer.

  • Custom & Made-to-Order Pieces: Custom commissions, personalized items, resized rings/bracelets, or final clearance items are created specifically for you and are final sale, unless there is a structural defect in craftsmanship upon arrival.

  • Cancellations: If you need to cancel an order, please contact the studio within 24 hours. Once an order has shipped or fabrication on a custom order has begun, cancellations cannot be accepted.

5. Studio Intellectual Property & Designs

All content on this site—including studio names, maker logos, original design concepts, photographs, written copy, and artistic representations—is the intellectual property of Lattice and Lore Studios. Reproducing, copying, or exploiting our original designs, photography, or site text for commercial purposes without prior written consent from the studio is strictly prohibited.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Lattice and Lore Studios shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of this website or the wearing/handling of our handcrafted products. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the specific item in question.

7. Governing Law

These Terms of Service and any studio transactions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, United States.
